So far away now...

This post is for my homie Benny, the ultimate brother.  We waved goodbye to him yesterday morning as he headed towards the dreaded airport security gates on his way to Rio de Janiero, Brazil.  His kicks are polished, his white shirt pressed, his passport in his pocket and he's off!  On the journey of a lifetime that one can never fully describe:  La Mision.  Ben is a breath of fresh air for us all.  His laugh, his smile, and his kickin' sense of humor bring us all to tears... of joy.  There is no one more fun than Ben.  His presence will be missed in our house for the next two (long) years, but we know he is where he wants to be and he will bring smiles to the faces of the Brazilians in Rio.

As an ode to him today, we bring you a little bit of the bro that "likes to party" as he would say:

one final glance back...
We love you Benny!  Go get em!

We miss you already.  Come back to us soon...and in one piece, please.
